A visit
Measurements taken, boxing opened where it needs to be, the floor tested underfoot. Nothing is priced from a photograph.
Complete bathrooms, walk-in showers, wet rooms and en-suites across York and the villages around it. Designed, stripped out, sealed and finished by one team — so nothing waits on anybody else’s diary.
Free written quotes · Old bathroom removed · Room handed back clean
Leave your details and we will call you back to arrange a look at the room. Nothing is passed on to anybody else, and there is no charge for the visit.
Porcelain run floor to ceiling, brassware in antique and brushed gold, lighting built into the recesses. The detail is where the money shows.

Property across York runs from city-centre terraces and Georgian townhouses to village cottages and modern estates, and no two bathrooms within them are alike. What stays constant is the preparation underneath.
The room stripped to its substrate and rebuilt outward — services, sealing, surfaces and sanitaryware.
Usually replacing a bath nobody uses. Tray, screen, tanking and tiling, generally inside the week.
The floor tanked and graded to an outlet, so there is no tray lip and nothing to step over.
Small rooms decided by their layout. Door swings and service runs resolved before anything is ordered.
Porcelain, textured relief tile, reeded panels and lit recesses — or panelling where speed matters more.
A shower that has failed, a bath showing its age, a basin weeping at the trap. Exchanged, the room untouched.

When a bathroom starts going wrong a couple of winters later, the fittings are almost never to blame. Water has worked past the tiling into a wall that was never sealed, or a floor with too much give has opened the joints. None of that is visible on the day the work finishes — which is exactly how a cheaper quote manages to leave it out.
Older property in and around York keeps its secrets — soft boarding under a bath, tile fixed onto bare lime plaster, pipework routed by somebody who never expected anyone to look. Whatever surfaces, you get a call before we continue, with the cost attached.
Measurements taken, boxing opened where it needs to be, the floor tested underfoot. Nothing is priced from a photograph.
Materials itemised apart from labour, with the number of days stated. Where a genuine choice exists, we cost both.
Strip-out, boarding, tanking and first fix, then tiling, sanitaryware, glass and floor. The same team each morning.
Everything run and watched for weeps, sealed, the room cleaned through, and each fitting shown to you before we go.
Not every project needs the walls touching. Here the tiling stayed where it was and everything standing on the floor was replaced — bath, panel, vanity and WC unit.

Adrian did a fantastic full renovation of our en-suite. It was a tricky job with a previous sunken bath, tiles stuck on over old tiles and all sorts of horrors to be discovered when the bathroom was ripped out. Adrian handled all this like a pro and despite the extra issues managed to complete the bathroom to an excellent standard and in the time he promised. He communicated excellently throughout the job as we were on holiday, keeping me up to date as work progressed and sending lots of pictures. Would definitely recommend and use Adrian for future jobs. Thanks again!
Adrian and his team were amazing. Completed a complete rip out of old bathroom and installed a completely new refit. Even with hitting a few surprises along the way the job was complete in 5 days and the wow factor is definitely there! Would definitely recommend in a heartbeat. Top job 👌
From quote to completion Adrian provided a first class service. Everything was completed on time to a high standard. I was kept updated at all times and he provided receipts for additional materials. He arrived everyday punctually and along with his team worked all day. Everything was left clean and tidy when they had finished. Would recommend him.
Absolutely over the moon with my new bathroom fantastic work from start to finish they were amazing took a bit longer Han expected but that’s fine with how it’s turned out I can’t complain at all!

The range is broad, and the sanitaryware is rarely the biggest element of it. A compact shower room and a principal bathroom finished in full-height porcelain sit a long way apart. Our quote separates labour from materials, so it is obvious which choices are carrying the cost and which you might reconsider.
Budget for most of a week on a complete installation; shower rooms and like-for-like replacements finish sooner. Where the house has a single bathroom we order the work to bring the WC back into service quickly, and we will be honest about which days are the awkward ones.
Whichever you prefer. Many customers have already chosen everything down to the brassware. Others hand us a budget and a general direction and ask us to return with two or three options. Both work perfectly well.
It leaves with us. Sanitaryware, tiling, floor covering and debris are all removed from the property, and the room is swept and wiped before it comes back to you.
Yes, and it is the request we receive most often. The bath comes out, services are repositioned, the walls are boarded and tanked, then the tray, screen and tiling follow. In a room of ordinary size it is a matter of days.
The tray. A shower room has one, with glass enclosing it. A wet room does not — the floor itself is tanked and graded toward a drain, so there is no threshold at all. Wet rooms need more preparation but they are unmatched where stepping over anything is difficult.
It is. Walls, floors, panelling, and the electrical side too — recessed lighting, extraction and shaver sockets. One team carries out all of it, which is why no part of the job stands idle waiting on another trade.
Not in the least. A great deal of property in and around York is Georgian, Victorian or older, with lath, lime plaster and floors that have moved over a century or two. It shapes how we set out and where we pack, not whether the work can be done well.
No. Someone comes and looks at the room properly, and a written price follows. Nothing further happens unless you contact us again — we do not chase people.
York and the surrounding villages — Acomb, Clifton, Fulford, Haxby, Huntington, Dunnington, Copmanthorpe, Bishopthorpe, Poppleton, Strensall and Stamford Bridge among them — along with Easingwold and Selby. If you are a little outside that, call and ask.
Send the form across or simply call. We will arrange a time that suits you, take the measurements, listen to what you have in mind, and follow it up with a written price. There is no charge and nothing to commit to.
